ITSM Foundations for LeHigh LIG Vendor Fair

This class is designed as an introductory qualification for all IT professionals who want to become more familiar with the fundamentals of IT Service Management best practices, and the principles behind "Service Excellence".  The content is compatible with the world-class 'IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) best practices set, and ideal preparation for the worldwide certification and examination processes coordinated by the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) and Exin organizations.

 

The class provides a common set of terms and practical reference for the ten key service delivery and support best practice sets that form the core of the ITIL guidance.  ITIL, when introduced as part of an IT Service Management (ITSM) strategy, has been proven to  improve the credibility, efficiency and effectiveness of an IT service provider organization.

 

What You Will Learn:

With the successful completion of this class you will be able to:

  • Gain insights into how to develop an ITSM strategy and what problems the strategy should address
  • Gain the qualification "Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management" and demonstrate your knowledge in this area
  • Describe in detail to your peers the mission and key functions of the ten key ITIL best practice sets

Use the ITIL best practice set to assess and enhance current IT practices

 

Additional Fees: Examination fees are $165 per person which includes an additional fee for an independently proctored exam.
